BUSINESS NETWORKING - MARCH MEETING NOTES

On Tuesday, March 16, 2010, the Business Networking group met at our local BB&T branch here in the Shenandoah Shopping Center from 6pm-8pm.

There were 31 people in attendance.

Andy O'Boyle introduced our speakers for the night. They were from the Law office of WILD, FELICE and PRADO, PA. Topics discussed were WILLS & TESTAMENTS, TAX AVOIDANCE & PROBATE. It turned out to be a very interesting informative evening.  Many of our residents asked very important questions.

We all enjoyed Wine, Cheese & Popcorn Chicken

We also shared in on a 50/50 and our winner was MaryAnn Schoolden - Yea! - She won $28.

BB&T was nice enough to give us two Door prizes. The winners were Charmaine & Tony (from the Law Office)

MISSION
The Business Networking Committee Mission is to bring as much of the services and products that any of our neighbors in Shenandoah may need to the vendors that live in our community All of our Preferred Vendors will have special offers for our neighbors and best of all we are all helping our neighbors put food on their tables by giving or referring business to them. This portion of the website is still in it's infancy but I ask that all of my neighbors that need a service or a product go to our Preferred Vendors section and seek out a vendor for your particular service. If you can't find your particular vendor, send a message to the Business Networking committee detailing your needs. We'll find you a vendor and see to it that you get world class services.

REFERRALS
The referrals that have been given out to our neighbors will be posted on this site along with testimonials so everyone can read them. If anyone has a testimonial, a referral to be posted or want to be one of our Preferred Vendors please send a message to our chairman and he'll hook you up.

I have another great testimonial for Gift Baskets for Delivery!
We had 6 gift baskets and another 3 packages of fruit and nuts to be delivered for Christmas and the people there were absolutely fantastic! They basically asked us how much we wanted to spend on each, where they were and even though we were in the "Crunch Time" of the Holiday season they had all of the baskets delivered on the exact same day in 3 days to all 6 places. They did such a great job on the baskets that we decided to use them again 4 days before Christmas to deliver 3 more boxes of fruit and nuts to family up in PA. and VA. Not expecting to get them delivered in time we were so impressed that they not only had them there the day before Christmas but they remembered we were Shenandoah residents and had a special package made up for the delivery. Gift Baskets for Delivery is absolutely fantastic! I would recommend them for anyone and make sure you tell the person there that you are a Shenandoah Resident and you will get the Red Carpet Treatment.
